Tallinn-based creator partnerships platform Modash raises $12M Series A

Tallinn-based creator partnerships platform Modash, which helps brands discover, manage, and scale influencer partnerships, has raised $12 million in Series A funding, as Vestbee was told. henQ VC led the investment.

  • Established in 2020 by Avery Schrader and Hendry Sadrak, Modash develops a powerful creator partnerships platform that helps consumer brands scale their global influencer marketing efforts.
  • Modash’s Discovery engine provides brands access to over 250 million creators across all niches, enabling teams to quickly evaluate influencers by audience and performance metrics without complex onboarding.
  • In addition to its discovery features, Modash provides an all-in-one campaign management suite that streamlines outreach, performance tracking, and content management. Its integrated payment solution simplifies cross-border payments and vendor management, enabling brands to pay creators efficiently without hidden fees.
  • The startup serves 500 US customers and prominent clients such as Birkenstock, Victoria's Secret, Farfetch, Bolt, Adore Me, NordVPN, and Gymondo.

Details of the deal

  • The Series A round was led by henQ Ventures, a venture capital firm that supports B2B software startups. They invest in promising European founders with initial funding ranging from €1 million to €10 million.

“Modash breaks the mold in terms of Series A investments. Its product is already market-leading globally, with a robust, data-backed search engine capable of mapping the global creator landscape and an end-to-end platform to unify the entire experience of doing creator partnerships, including a payment system," Claims Jan Andriessen, Partner at henQ

  • The Series A funds will support the startup's team in enhancing the influencer payment solution and AI-driven creator discovery, as well as in establishing a customer support team in North America.

"This round is also bringing us closer than ever to our North American customers, with a second office located just ten minutes away from Shopify HQ in Ottawa and a short flight from NYC, Boston, and major cities across the East Coast," co-founder and CEO of Modash, Avery Schrader, commented in a press release.
