London-based sports sponsorship platform Luscid secures $1.2M to expand globally

London-based sports sponsorship tech platform Luscid, which assists brands and agencies in securing suitable partnership deals, has secured $1.2 million to expand globally and improve its proprietary platform.

  • Founded in 2022 by Harry Coe and Damien Gillman, Luscid develops sports sponsorship data software that provides comprehensive insights, accountability, transparency, and efficiency for sports and entertainment partnerships.
  • The platform offers guidance across seven partnership categories, 87 audience passion points, and 8,500 potential partner properties. It utilizes data from six sources and measures across 50 countries, analyzing 100,000 audience profile points.
  • The startup is trusted by notable brands and agencies, including Cloudbet, OVG, Bright Partnership, The Value Xchange, Barilla, Binance, Influence Sports and Media, and WeAre Fearless.

Details of the deal

  • The seed funding round was supported by sports and tech business angels, including Craig Pollard, Paul Stepanek, and Stuart Martin.

“If you understand the interests of your customers and the best methods to communicate with them through those interests, combined with a pinpoint understanding of exactly which partnerships your marketing budget will allow you to create and which of those opportunities mirror the beliefs that you as a business want to project to the world, then you have the foundations of successful sponsorship,” CEO and co-founder of Luscid, Harry Coe, commented.

  • With the capital raised, Luscid will continue its rapid growth, enhance its platform, and broaden its global reach.
