Ukrainian AI-driven platform for information operations protection LetsData has raised $1.6 million in pre-seed funding to expand into the US and Europe. The round was led by SMOK Ventures.
- Founded in 2022 by Andriy Kusyy and Ksenia Iliuk, LetsData uses AI to detect and prevent information operations (InfoOps), including manipulation and synthetic identities, across platforms like X, Telegram, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
- The company scans millions of posts to identify early threats from cybercriminals, hostile states, or competitors. Its No Keyword approach offers proactive security, which uncovers more risks than traditional methods.
- LetsData claims to detect 89% of InfoOps at their inception with 97% accuracy. The company has already achieved $1 million ARR, with clients including the FCDO, UK Embassies, NATO member state armed forces, and several corporations in the US and UK.

"At the end of the day, what truly matters is execution, and Ksenia and Andriy have made incredible progress. Over the past 12 months, they’ve demonstrated exceptional execution, and with this round, they’re poised to scale their impact in the U.S. market on a much larger scale," CEO at Startup Wise Guys, Cristobal Alonso, commented.
- With the fresh capital raise, the startup aims to enhance its AI technology, expand into the US and Europe, and strengthen its position in the cybersecurity market.
