Irish startup Zerve AI, which simplifies the development and deployment of Data Science and AI/ML projects for code-first teams, has secured $7.6 million in a seed round led by Paladin Capital Group.
- Founded in 2021 by Jason Hillary, Greg Michaelson, and Phily Hayes, Zerve develops an end-to-end platform that streamlines the development and deployment of Data Science and AI/ML projects for code-first data teams. By accelerating the process from concept to production, the platform reduces development timelines from months to weeks.
- Zerve’s secure, scalable solution provides a full suite of tools for managing AI and data workflows. It simplifies infrastructure management, supports seamless language interoperability, and offers advanced features like version control and package management. These capabilities help data teams optimize their processes, shorten project cycles, and maximize ROI with less complexity.
- The startup launched its product in February this year and has already attracted 4,000 users to its free product tier within just three months.
Details of the deal
- The seed round was led by Paladin Capital Group, a venture capital firm with offices in Washington, DC, London, Luxembourg, New York City, and Silicon Valley. Paladin specializes in supporting dual-use technologies for commercial and governmental markets, with a strong focus on cybersecurity and digital infrastructure resilience.
“Zerve’s intuitive platform can release that potential and improve the safety and reliability of the software ultimately deployed. With spend on AI at $33Bn in 2023 in Europe alone, growing 30% per year, we are hugely excited about Zerve’s prospects," Managing Director at Paladin Capital Group, Kenneth Pentimonti, stated.
- The latest funding round also included support from existing investor Elkstone, based in Dublin, along with participation from several business angels.
- With this funding, Zerve plans to accelerate its R&D efforts, strengthen its platform, enhance user support, and expand its global presence in the Data Science and AI/ML landscape.
"Our platform is already helping elite data teams cut cycle times and drive meaningful results. We’re grateful to our customers, users, investors, and our talented team for making this possible," Zerve's team, commented on LinkedIn.
