Stockholm-based VC Incore Invest has secured €25 million in Fund II to fuel high-growth investments in SaaS, embedded finance, and fintech companies.
- Founded in 2022 by Nicolai Chamizo, Incore Invest makes growth-stage investments, helping businesses expand by working directly with founders, management teams, and existing owners. The firm provides industry expertise and access to networks in the European tech space.
- The fresh fund aims to invest in startups with proven revenue models and strong growth potential across the Nordic and Northern European markets, including the UK.
- Focusing on companies with solid fundamentals, Fund II will provide strategic, long-term capital to help them scale and reach the next level of growth.
- The launch comes as the fintech, SaaS, and embedded finance industries evolve with regulatory changes like PSD2/3 and the growing open banking framework. Incore Invest II aims to help European startups create new economic opportunities by bridging this gap.
“Incore Invest II is the natural evolution of our investment strategy. We are building on a strong foundation and expanding into bigger opportunities with a selective and high-conviction approach. Traditional finance is shifting towards more innovative and scalable solutions, and we see a great opportunity to support the next wave of transformative businesses," explains Nicolai Chamizo, Incore's CEO and founder.
- The fresh fund saw support from notable investors, including Victor Hedman, Renée Nyberg, Molly Sandén, and Staffan Olsson.
