Polish biotech startup IMAGENE.ME, which provides genetic testing and related medical services, has raised €1.4 million in funding to expand its products and services into international markets. The fresh capital was backed by ABAN.VC and NCBR Investment Fund ASI S.A.
- Founded in 2018 by Mirosław Kwaśniewski, IMAGENE.ME specializes in genetic testing and personalized medicine. The company has developed a digital health system that combines DNA sequencing with machine learning and artificial intelligence to support effective health management.
- Through a single advanced DNA test, users gain long-term insights into their genetic predispositions, enabling informed decisions about health prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
- IMAGENE.ME offers services that address various needs, from diagnostic support for hereditary conditions to personalized prevention plans and lifestyle adjustments.
- With a team of over 50 professionals, the company claims to have analyzed the DNA of more than 4,000 people and collaborates with leading research centers and medical specialists to ensure the accuracy and quality of its services.

- The funding round was backed by ABAN.VC, a Krakow-based venture capital firm that supports startups in their early stages of development.
- NCBR Investment Fund ASI S.A., a Warsaw-based venture capital firm that helps startups during their growth and expansion phases with investment sizes ranging from PLN 3 million to EUR 15 million, also joined the round.
- The startup will use the funds to scale operations, strengthen its position in Poland, expand in Europe, and develop new products and services using artificial intelligence and machine learning.
