Hungarian AI platform for data generation for autonomous driving development, DiffuseDrive, has secured an undisclosed funding round. The round was led by 500 Emerging Europe, with the participation of various angel investors.
- DiffuseDrive was founded in 2023 by Balint Pasztor and Roland Pinter. The startup creates a platform that allows computer vision developers to create synthetic data, annotate it, and use data exploration to improve model performance. The solution developed by DiffuseDrive aims at solving the difficulties posed by limited data in computer vision applications driven by AI.
"The physical realities limit you at sourcing data for the development, of course we need synthetic data. The state-of-the-art solutions for such data are inadequate and outdated. It does not cut it," explains Balint Pasztor, CEO of DiffuseDrive.
- A leading investor, 500 Emerging Europe, was founded in 2015. The firm invests in early-stage startups and seed rounds with a focus on AI, SaaS, enterprise software, machine learning and gaming across CEE. At this moment, its portfolio consists of more than 60 startups, with initial ticket prices ranging from €250,000 to €2 million.
- The new funding will be used to support the further work and development of DiffuseDrive solutions and the startup's global expansion.
