- The startup provides its service for the residential building sector, with help from experienced energy advisors and a comprehensive property database.
- According to Fuchs & Eule, their team has completed over 2,000 renovations in Germany within the 18 months, with an average CO2 savings of 6.7 tons per building.
Details of the deal
- The leading investor is SET Ventures, a venture capital firm specialized in digital technologies for a carbon-free energy system. Founded in 2007 by Rene Savelsberg and Wouter Jonk, SET Ventures supports companies that develop sustainable solutions in the production, distribution, storage, and consumption of energy in areas like distributed infrastructure, energy retail, buildings, industry, and mobility.
“The building sector is one of the largest fossil energy consumers in our economy, but so far has not played its role in the decarbonization challenge. Fuchs & Eule has built a delightful product that enables mass-market adoption of energetic home renovations. We are beyond excited to work with the team around Robin Behlau, Tobias Frese, Friso Zimmermann and Lina Adrian,” Dr.Till Stenzel, Partner at SET Ventures, stated.
- Realyze Ventures, a German fund that invests in early to growth-stage startups with a focus on energy, climate, building, and construction, and Picus Capital, an early-stage technology investment company, also participated in the Series A round for Fuchs & Eule.
- With the current funding, F&E will continue its growth as an independent energy renovation advisor for the residential building sector.
