Estonian data-based search tool Supersimple secures $2.2M pre-seed funding

Supersimple, a data-based search tool, announced that it has raised $2.2 million in a pre-seed funding to improve the data search algorithm and accelerate consumer expansion. The round was led by Tera Ventures, Specialist VC, Tiny VC, as well as various angel investors.

  • Established in 2021 by Marko Klopets and Priit Haamer, Supersimple develops a platform designed for teams in SaaS companies to answer complex ad-hoc data questions. Users can access various and complex data sets with the platform without knowing any coding. Using plain English and selecting the search setting, an updated report will be delivered to users.

The round is backed by three VC funds and business angels:

  • Tera Ventures is an Estonian venture capital fund which makes early-stage investments focusing on international digital startups.
  • Specialist VC is a venture capital fund that supports pre-seed to Series A startups from Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Ukraine, with a ticket size up to €3 million.
  • Tiny VC invests between $150,000 and $200,000, mainly in pre-seed and seed-stage European firms.
  • Business angels such Ott Kaukver, Alvar Lumberg, Indrek Kasela, and Märt Kelder. Also participated in the round of funding.

With the capital secured, Supersimple aims to improve data search methods and faster consumer growth.
