- Launched in 2023 by Hannu Verkasalo and Surath Chatterji, Behavix provides AI-driven solutions for collecting and analyzing privacy-first behavioral data from digital platforms. It partners with panel companies and app/web publishers to deliver actionable insights based on real-world consumer behavior.
- With a strategic base in New York City, Behavix enables businesses to make data-driven decisions by processing opt-in behavioral data at scale, providing deeper insights into consumer actions and trends to optimize strategies across industries.
Details of the deal
- The investment was co-led by Superhero Capital, a Helsinki-based VC firm that recently raised €50 million for its fourth fund to support founders in Finland and the Baltic region, and Vendep Capital, an Espoo-based venture capital firm that invests in early-stage B2B SaaS startups in the Nordics and Baltics, with ticket sizes ranging from €100,000 to €3 million.
“Behavix is solving one of the most pressing challenges in the data-driven world – providing businesses with deep, scalable, and objective consumer-focused data solutions. Their approach is groundbreaking, leveraging behavioral data in a way that has never been leveraged before. We see Behavix as a key player in the future of market research and digital intelligence, and we’re excited to support their journey," explains Sami Ahvenniemi, General Partner at Vendep Capital.
- The round also saw support from business angels.
- The fresh capital will enable the startup to expand its audience partnerships, improve its AI and machine learning capabilities, speed up product development, and grow its market presence, especially in the US, to address the rising demand for behavioral intelligence across industries.
“This funding is a testament to the incredible work of our team and the immense potential of our solutions for connecting the supply and demand side of the behavioral data market. I am incredibly proud of what we have built in 2024 and excited for what’s ahead in 2025-2026," CEO and co-founder of Behavix, Hannu Verkasalo, stated.
