London-based startup Embeddable, which enables the rapid creation of custom analytics solutions, has raised €6 million in a seed funding round led by OpenOcean, with support from TechStars and Four Rivers. The funding will help the company expand its team, as Vestbee was told.
- Founded in 2023 by Harry Marshall and Tom Gardiner, Embeddable makes it easier to create custom analytics dashboards.
- Developers can build reusable chart components in React.js, while non-technical teams use a drag-and-drop interface to customize dashboards, and end-users can personalize their data views with a no-code tool.
"We're building a platform that empowers teams to deliver fast, interactive data experiences at scale, all while creating a community where developers can share and collaborate — saving them time to work on their core product features," CEO and co-founder of Embeddable, Tom Gardiner, commented in a press release.
- The startup, with a team of 14, claims to have secured contracts with 36 companies, ranging from startups to billion-dollar businesses, before launching its Private Beta in December 2023.
- Since then, it has grown quickly, receiving over 800 beta applications, signing $100,000 in new contracts each month, and establishing partnerships with companies like StarTree, amCharts, and Cube.
Details of the deal
- The investemnt was led by OpenOcean, a Helsinki and London-based venture capital firm focusing on leading Series A investments in European companies driving the data economy, including B2B platforms and Enterprise.
" Harry and Tom are building something extraordinary, and we couldn’t be more excited to be part of their journey as they set a new standard in the industry," Explains Sam Hields, Partner at OpenOcean.
- Existing investors Four Rivers and TechStars, a pre-seed investor that supports startups with funding, mentorship, customer acquisition, hiring, and infrastructure, joined the round.
- Embeddable plans to use the funding to expand its team and build a developer community focused on collaborative innovation. The company aims to offer a library of community-contributed templates, enhancing its headless platform for faster and more customizable data visualizations.
