London-based e-mobility platform Dodona Analytics, which helps companies plan electric vehicle (EV) charging networks, has secured Series A funding led by Flashpoint, with WaVe-X joining the round, as shared with Vestbee.
- Founded in 2018 by Stefan Furlan and Chris Chamberlain,
- develops EV charging optimization software, which helps find acceptable charging sites for charge point operators and other infrastructure designers.
- Dodona Analytics' eMobility platform (DEM) integrates over fifty updated data sources with advanced machine learning and AI, helping clients build profitable businesses with informed decisions. Its user-friendly interface simplifies complex tasks, making it as easy to use as tracking an Uber.
Details of the deal
- The Series A funding was led by Flashpoint, an investment manager that oversees five venture funds across three products: venture capital, growth debt, and direct secondary, with approximately $500 million in AUM invested in US and Western European tech companies. The firm's portfolio includes 70 investments and 19 successful exits, featuring companies such as Omnipack, Chess.com, and Allset Technologies.

Dodona supports Charge Point Operators in this mission by providing an AI-infused data and analytics layer that becomes their OS in creating and maintaining chargers,” Associate Partner at Flashpoint Venture Capital, Marton Medveczky, commented in a statement.
- Austria-based Wave-X, an investment management firm focusing on logistics, mobility, construction, and proptech startups across Europe, also participated in the funding round.
- The investment will accelerate the startup's growth in the category through strategic research and development, as well as further expand its operations into North America and Europe.
