5U AI lands $3.2M to scale AI workforce platform for logistics companies

Munich-based 5U AI, a logistics technology startup developing AI-powered digital workers for freight forwarding operations, has raised $3.2 million in an oversubscribed pre-seed funding round led by Emerge Capital, with participation from angel investors and logistics industry executives.

  • Founded in 2025 by Yagiz Abik and Fehmi Şener, 5U AI is building an Agentic AI platform that enables freight forwarders to automate operational workflows across air, sea, and road transport.
  • The company’s AI Workers handle tasks such as quoting, bookings, shipment tracking, invoice reconciliation, data entry, and routine administration.
  • By integrating with existing freight systems and capturing the reasoning behind AI-driven decisions, the platform helps logistics teams preserve operational knowledge and improve processes over time.
