Ukrainian-founded startup Deus Robotics has secured $3 million in a seed funding round led by u.ventures, as the startup told Vestbee. The funding will enable the startup to expand into the UK market and further enhance its AI-powered robots.
- Founded in 2018 by Pavlo Pikulin, Deus Robotics develops advanced AI-powered automation solutions for warehouses, specializing in robotics technology to address labor shortages and increase productivity.
- Deus Robotics has offices in Ukraine, the UK, and the US, and offers a two-part solution: an AI platform that integrates and coordinates logistics robots from various manufacturers, allowing them to work together seamlessly, and intelligent AI robots designed to automate a wide range of warehouse processes.
- The startup claims that its solution has been tested in five projects with two logistics companies, resulting in a 300% improvement in workflow efficiency.
Details of the deal
- The seed round was led by u.ventures, a Chicago-based VC specializing in early-stage technology companies with global growth potential.
- The investment also received support from 1991 Ventures, a UK-based venture capital firm that has launched a £15 million fund to invest in Ukraine and the broader CEE region, as well as SID Venture Partners, Sigma Software Labs, and SD Capital.
"By supporting companies like Deus Robotics, we’re not only backing groundbreaking technology but also highlighting Ukraine as a growing hub of innovation with the potential to shape global industries,” Partner at 1991 Ventures, Denis Gursky, stated in a statement.
- The startup plans to use the funds for product development, expansion into the UK market, and further driving robotic adoption across the warehouse industry.
“The investment will help us bolster and extend our team, and exhibit the effectiveness of robotic solutions to both existing and new clients,” comments Antonina Iermeichuk, co-founder and COO of Deus Robotics.
