Paris-based AI workspace platform startup Delos, which builds generative AI tools to simplify daily office work, has secured $2.5 million in funding. Harry Stebbings' 20VC led the round.
- Established in 2023 by Pierre de la Grand’rive and Thibaut de la Grand’rive, Delos develops a comprehensive suite of generative AI applications designed to transform businesses' operations.
- Delos creates intuitive, collaborative tools that integrate seamlessly into any workplace, focused on real, everyday use cases such as meeting summaries, writing assistance, document analysis, translation, research, and news monitoring.
- These applications are powered by advanced large language models (LLMs) deployed entirely within the European Union, ensuring that data remains private, secure, and sovereign.
- With no data used for AI training, robust encryption, and regular third-party audits, Delos provides a safe and transparent environment for adopting AI.
Details of the deal
- The round was led by 20VC, which recently closed a $400 million fund to back European and US startups. The fund provides pre-seed and seed investments ranging from $100,000 to $3 million and Series A rounds ranging from $5 million to $15 million.
- The investment also saw participation from Inovia, Kima Ventures, and angel investors.
- Delos will use the new funding to accelerate product development, expand its engineering and sales teams in Europe, and scale adoption of its AI-native productivity suite across more enterprises.
