After recently having explored  Fintech, Blockchain, and Healthcare sectors, our next focus goes on to Hardware. As industries from the previous selections, Hardware had also taken a step forward in recent years, so it comes as no surprise, accordingly, that there have been numerous CEE-based companies focusing on progressing in this particular area.

Therefore, we'd want to highlight 10 interesting Hardware startups from Central and Eastern Europe that you should keep an eye on.

Neuron Soundware

Neuron Soundware is a Czech startup aiming to drastically reduce the upkeep and maintenance costs of industrial machinery. To do so, the team has come up with an innovative IoT sensor collecting and analyzing the sounds. These sounds then are being investigated for any anomalies that subsequently get reported directly into customers' cloud-based accounts,  thus making it easier to detect and fix the problems.

GoldiLock

Goldilock is a Czech startup that has developed a simple yet powerful patented technology aimed at physically separating sensitive data from danger or interference. The Goldilock's TruAirgap is a tool that may be operated without using the internet thus allowing for reduced data leakage while assuring data security that was previously stored in the cloud. 

Radicos Technologies

Radicos Technologies is a startup offering a new view of data collection and safety monitoring in an industrial setting with its cable-based TWIN system. It rivals contemporary cable sensors with its increased ability to persevere in harsh environments while also challenging wireless solutions by offering more precision. As an end result, Radicos technologies reduces the costs of cable solutions by 30% to 90% while also challenging wireless-based tools by offering more reliable data.

Dynamic Division

Dynamic Division represents an unrealistically exciting, yet possible advance of robots-as-a-service in the area of facility cleaning that has been congested for all of history with manual and oftentimes sweatshop labor. GlucoActive

Glucoactive is a Polish startup that offers an innovative non-invasive solution for diabetes testing by making it easier to check blood sugar levels without even having to prick your finger which helps remove the psychological barrier of those tests that helps diagnose the disease earlier and in a matter of seconds. As an end result, GlucoActive is set to disrupt old testing devices and methods while also decreasing the impact of the 7th largest civilization disease.

Qoolers

Qoolers is a startup from Hungary that has developed an efficient battery thermal management system for electric cars. Its goal is to allow them to reach superfast charging, a longer range and lifespan while also increasing the safety of battery packs. As an end result, Qoolers will enable its users to reduce the charge times to 5 minutes, allow for longer battery usage thanks to the decreased size and weight of those very batteries, meanwhile also making them recyclable and safer for users and the environment.

Inlock

Inlock is a Hungarian company behind a patented foldable bicycle lock integrated into the seat post, that aims to simplify the experience and costs associated with carrying traditional bike locks.  As an end result, the company wants to ride the waves of greener, bike-driven environments which had shown tremendous but steady growth in recent years.

Sanezoo

Sanezoo aspires to address the growing need for automated industrial inspection and material handling by providing dedicated robotics solutions capable of adapting to new products and requirements. Sanezoo aims to cut costs for its customers while making industrial inspection and material handling significantly easier to scale.

Grissp

Grissp is a startup developing a complete-suite edge computing solution that allows for lower cloud pressure while also protecting sensitive data closer to its origin. By the conclusion of the project, Grissp plans to fill the rising demand for edge computing while also assisting clients in lowering costs by drastically reducing the need for an internet connection and cloud storage.
