Cologne-based AI-powered SaaS platform Buynomics has secured $30 million in Series B funding, led by Forestay Capital with participation from Anais Ventures and VI Partners. The new funding will fuel global expansion, with a strong focus on North America.
- Buynomics was founded in 2018 by Dr. Ingo Reinhardt and Dr. Sebastian Baier. The company is an AI-driven SaaS platform focused on optimizing pricing and revenue strategies. Using its Virtual Shopper AI technology, Buynomics simulates real consumer behavior to help businesses improve pricing, promotions, and product portfolios.
- The platform integrates with supply chain, finance, and market research systems, automating pricing decisions and revenue management. This integration helps reduce analysis time and improve efficiency.
- With a team of over 70 professionals from 14 different countries, Buynomics serves customers in more than 25 countries worldwide. The company delivers solutions to industries like Consumer Goods, Telecom, Retail, and Consumer Healthcare.
Details of the deal
- The investment round was led by Forestay Capital, an early-growth stage tech fund and part of B-FLEXION, a private entrepreneurial investment firm. It also saw participation from Anais Ventures and Swiss-based VC VI Partners.

- Buynomics will use the funding to accelerate global growth by expanding into the US and Asia, enhance AI capabilities with improved analytics and decision-making, broaden its industry reach to sectors like Retail and Consumer Electronics, and enhance platform integrations with supply chain, finance, and market research systems.
