Vilnius-based venture capital firm BSV Ventures has secured a €15 million fund to support pre-seed and Seed-stage startups across the Baltic region and the EU. The new fund received backing from the NATO Innovation Fund (NIF), Lithuania's ILTE fund through the Accelerator 2 programme, and private investors across Europe.
- Founded in 2022 by Sandra Golbreich, Andrius Milinavičius, and Erik Bhullar, BSV Ventures, formerly Baltic Sandbox Ventures, is a venture capital firm that invests in early-stage R&D teams focused on solving complex technical challenges with commercial potential.
- The firm has offices in Lithuania, Estonia, and Finland and has made 27 investments totaling over €3 million.
- The €15 million Fund aims to support early-stage startups in the Baltics and the EU, focusing on innovative solutions in areas such as mechatronics, biotech, functional genomics, AI, and space technologies.
- The fund aims to help these startups scale internationally and contribute to the growth of a thriving deep tech ecosystem in the region, with collaboration opportunities for investors, R&D teams, and academic institutions.
- The BSV Fund received support from LPs, including the NATO Innovation Fund (NIF), Lithuania’s ILTE fund under the Accelerator 2 program, which offers training, consulting, and initial venture capital to support micro and small enterprises and private investors from across Europe.
