Polish edtech startup Bethink secures €5.9M in funding led by TDJ Venture

Poznan-based edtech startup Bethink, which develops e-learning platforms tailored to a wide range of needs, has secured €5.9 million (PLN 25 million) in funding led by TDJ Venture. The proceeds will allow the startup to strengthen its position in Poland and prepare for global expansion, as Vestbee was informed.

  • Established in 2017 by Dariusz Chrapek and Adam Karmiński, Bethink offers an e-learning product that combines technology, educational publishing, and direct learning experiences.
  • The company's proprietary tools use atomic content technology and social learning features, enabling the creation of customized educational materials for high school students, medical students, doctors, and other learners.
  • Bethink's products include educational platforms "Więcej niż LEK" for medical students and "Więcej niż Matura" for high school students, which acquired over 20,000 users in 2024, generating revenue exceeding €4.5 million (PLN 19 million).

Details of the deal

  • The round was led by TDJ Venture, which is part of the TDJ family office. The fund invests in scaling-stage companies across diverse sectors, including energy transition, industrial automation, and the veterinary industries. It is valued at €85 million, and its ticket sizes range from €3 to € 10 million. Polish angel investor Paweł Maj also joined the round.

"We look for founders with a mission, courage, a constant drive for growth, problem-solving skills, and an innate talent for attracting top-tier talent and building a unique organizational culture. These qualities perfectly describe Dariusz and Adam. We want to support them where we can add real value and believe that together we can create solutions that will significantly transform the education landscape," claims Mateusz Sumara, Investment Director at TDJ Venture.

  • Bethink will use the funds to expand its team, launch a platform for learning mathematics with other high school subjects following in 2026, and strengthen its brands, with a focus on domestic growth and preparing for international expansion.
