Vienna-based WeAreDevelopers has secured a 7-figure investment from Round2 Capital. The capital will support the startup in promoting business expansion in the UK and the Netherlands.
- WeAreDevelopers was founded in 2017 by Benjamin Ruschin, Sead Ahmetovic, and Thomas Pamminger. The startup offers a career platform that connects European developers with suitable job opportunities, shares tech content, and organizes events.
- Vienna-based WeAreDevelopers is used by several global companies, including Hugo Boss, Bosch, Dynatrace, Volkswagen, Red Hat, GitHub, Vodafone, and ING.
- The startup claims that it has gained global recognition by hosting the WeAreDevelopers World Congress. An annual event for developers, gathering 500 speakers and more than 15,000 participants.
- The 7-figure investment was received from Round2 Capital, an investment firm that focuses on providing growth funding to small and medium-sized SaaS, software, and hardware startups. The firm operates in several European countries, mostly focusing on Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and the Nordic region. So far, it has already funded 34 software and technology scale-ups.
