Ghent-based startup Accurat.ai, which provides real-time retail insights, has raised €1 million to expand in Europe, with a particular focus on entering the German market. The investment was made by PMV, Angelwise, and several business angels.
- Founded in 2018 by Bart Muskala and Steven Van Canneyt, Accurat.ai develops an AI-based retail insights platform that helps teams make strategic and tactical decisions, boosting ROI and revenues.
- With a panel of 330,000 people in Belgium and over 500,000 in the Netherlands, Accurat delivers almost instant results, eliminating bias in reporting. These insights help major companies like Delhaize Belgium, Proximus, vanHaren Schoenen BV, Lidl België & Luxemburg, Brico, and Aveve N.V. maintain their competitive edge.
Details of the deal
- The funding round saw participation from PMW, an investment company based in Brussels, Belgium, that manages over €1 billion in investable assets, and Angelwise, a venture capital firm based in Hasselt that co-invests in early-stage startups.
