Munich-based Invertix, which develops an AI operating system for renewable energy operators, has raised €1.7 million in a pre-seed round led by Vireo Ventures, with participation from Italian Founders Fund and a group of energy and AI-focused angel investors.
- Founded in 2026 by Joseph Perrotta and Kaan Durmaz, Invertix builds software that connects to existing energy infrastructure systems such as SCADA, CMMS, ERP, and market data platforms, layering an AI-driven coordination system on top of operational data from renewable assets.
- The platform assigns autonomous software agents to tasks across operations, finance, and compliance, where they process live and historical data to identify faults, reconcile performance and revenue metrics, generate reporting outputs, and support maintenance workflows under configurable levels of autonomy.
Detail of the deal
- Invertix plans to expand its engineering and commercial teams, accelerate product development, and broaden its deployment across European energy markets. The company also intends to extend its automation capabilities beyond solar assets into wind, battery storage, and grid infrastructure, while deepening integrations with core industry systems.
“The renewable energy sector needs more than incremental software improvements. Invertix is tackling that with a team that is hungry, ambitious, deeply focused on customer value, and already translating vision into early results. That’s why we led their pre-seed," explains Felix Krause, Managing Partner at Vireo Ventures.
