Danish-Lithuanian defence tech startup Monopulse raises €2M to expand across NATO markets

Danish-Lithuanian defence tech startup Monopulse, which develops reconnaissance drones for military applications, has raised €2 million.

  • Founded in 2001 by Justas Poderys, Molopusle develops unmanned aerial systems for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions.
  • Its technology includes lightweight drones designed to operate in environments affected by GPS interference and disrupted communications, as well as hybrid platforms combining aerial and water-based surveillance capabilities.
  • The startup's systems are already used by the Lithuanian and Danish armed forces.
  • With the fresh funding, Monopulse plans to expand its production capacity, strengthen research and development, and accelerate its expansion into additional NATO markets, including Germany, France, and the Netherlands.

Details of the deal

  • The fresh funding came from Coinvest Capital, NGL Ventures, Plug and Play Ventures, and business angels.
  • As part of the investment, 68 business angels from NGL Ventures contributed €560,000, marking the investor network's largest syndicate to date.
  • In November 2025, Monopulse also secured €1.12 million in financing from Lithuania's national development bank ILTE to expand its UAV production capacity and fulfill existing orders.
