France-based medtech company Archeon Medical has raised $9 million in a Series A round led by Newfund through its HEKA fund, with participation from Eiffel Investment Group, UI Investissement’s OSER BFC fund, Majycc Innovation Santé and Karot Capital, as Vestbee was told.
- Founded in 2018 by Alban De Luca, Archeon Medical develops EOlife, a real-time ventilation feedback system that measures the volume of air delivered to a cardiac arrest patient’s lungs and provides visual feedback to rescuers.
- The device is FDA-cleared and CE-marked and is used in both clinical and educational settings.
- Archeon Medical previously raised €5.5 million in 2022 and secured additional multi-million-euro financing in 2024. The company currently employs 25 people and generated $1.5 million in revenue in 2025.
Details of the deal
- The company will use the funding to support clinical studies involving more than 1,500 cardiac arrest patients across Europe and the US, including at Amsterdam UMC in the Netherlands, Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue EMS in Oregon, and Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
- The studies are intended to generate further clinical evidence on EOlife and support its potential integration into emergency care standards.
