UK martech Userled secures £4M for AI marketing campaigns solution

London-based startup Userled, which helps B2B companies convert more key accounts through 1:1 personalization at scale, has secured £4 million in a pre-seed round for AI-based personalized marketing campaigns. The investment was led by LocalGlobe, with participation from Dig Ventures and various business angels.

  • Established in 2023 by Yann Sarfati and Tristan Saunders, Userled develops an AI-powered platform that automates creating and distributing personalized marketing campaigns, providing revenue teams with person-level engagement insights and being completely cookieless.
  • Userled integrates with CRM systems and IP reveal providers for real-time tracking of engagement and conversions, without the use of third-party cookies. Additionally, the startup has served several notable firms, including Elastic, Pigment, Deel, and Onfido.

Details of the deal

  • The fresh funding was led by LocalGlobe, a London-based venture capital firm with a portfolio that includes 25 startups, 26 investments, and one exit with Rezilion.

  • The investment also saw participation from Dig Ventures, a London-based venture capital firm that invests in startups focusing on B2B SaaS, cloud infrastructure, and fintech in Europe and the US. Additionally, various business angels joined the round, including Tessian founder Tim Sadler, Incident.io CEO Stephen Whitworth, Maze founder Jonathan Widawski, and Celonis DACH GM Remy Lazarovici.
  • The fresh capital raised will enable the startup to grow its workforce, enhance platform performance, expand channel distribution, and improve AI capabilities for efficient content generation in martech.
