TextYess, which helps eCommerce brands sell and engage with customers through AI-powered WhatsApp conversations, has secured a €2.4 million in a seed funding round to accelerate international expansion, as Vestbee was told.
- Launched in 2024 by Riccardo Russo and Edvaldo Gjonikaj, TextYess develops an AI-powered platform that enables eCommerce brands to sell directly through WhatsApp.
- The platform automates highly personalized sales conversations by analyzing customer behavior, such as purchases, browsing history, and cart activity, and generating AI-written messages for each individual.
- TextYess works by connecting to a brand’s CMS and WhatsApp number, allowing businesses to run AI Broadcast Campaigns, set up automated flows like abandoned cart recovery or post-purchase follow-ups, and operate a 24/7 AI Shopping Assistant that answers customer questions, manages orders, and provides real-time support.
Details of the deal
- The seed round was co-led by Italian VC Partners and Belgian fund Entourage, with participation from Angel Invest Ventures and a group of international business angels, including Filippo Conforti, David Clarke, and Gianluca Cocco.
- TextYess intends to use the €2.4 million in fresh capital to expand into international markets, enhance its AI agent suite, and strengthen its commercial team.
- The investment will also support the development of a comprehensive suite of AI tools aimed at automating eCommerce operations, enabling teams to focus on high-value activities while the platform handles routine tasks.
“This funding gives us the momentum to scale rapidly and expand into new markets. But more importantly, it validates our vision to become the European leader in conversational commerce - one conversation at a time," explains Riccardo Russo, co-founder and CEO of TextYess.
