Italian B2B search engine startup Soource raises €1.5M pre-seed

Bolzano's procurement-tech startup Soource, which is developing a B2B search engine, has raised €1.5 million in a pre-seed funding round led by 360 Capital, with support from Vento by Exor Ventures.

  • Founded in 2024 by Maicol Verzotto, Nazareno Mario Ciccarello, Silvia Chiarot, Serena Galli, and Luca Taddeo, Soource uses AI to streamline the supplier research and selection process. 
  • The platform provides access to a vast global database of companies and automates the collection of supplier information using mass email exchanges, reducing the time, risk, and costs associated with procurement.

Details of the deal

  • The pre-seed funding round was led by 360 Capital, a venture capital firm specializing in early-stage, innovative deep tech and digital enterprises across Europe. The firm has offices in Milan and Paris and has raised €30 million for the first closing of its early-stage fund, 360 Digitaly.

  • The round also saw participation from Vento by Exor Ventures, Club degli Investitori, B Heroes, and a list of notable business angels. 
  • The startup will use the €1.5 million raised to accelerate the development of its AI-powered procurement platform, refine its technology, and scale its operations.
