- The startup claims that its platform saves 5 minutes per patient, reduces charting time by 30%, and reduces clinician burnout and fatigue by 70%.
Details of the deal
- The seed round was led by Gapminder VC, an Amsterdam-based venture capital firm focused on early-stage B2B AI, deeptech, and SaaS startups in the SEE region. GapMinder typically invests €0.5 million to €5 million in Seed rounds, with follow-on investments up to €12 million to support scaling and international expansion.
"Parol not only reduces the time doctors spend documenting, but it does so efficiently and accurately that convinced us to invest," explains Robert Herscovici, Investment Director at Gapminder Ventures.
- Parol will use the €1.2 million in funding to develop its AI models further, enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of medical transcription and documentation.
