Polish-founded startup Proofs secures $2.6M led by Earlybird Venture Capital

Polish-founded startup Proofs has secured $2.6 million in pre-seed funding, led by Earlybird Digital East Fund and with participation from Expeditions Fund, Step Function Ventures, RTP Global, and business angels. This investment will enable Proofs to further develop its product and expand its team.

  • Co-founded by Bartek Pucek and Zbigniew Sobiecki, Proofs develops software that allows companies with APIs to use AI agents to build proof-of-concept apps tailored to their prospects' needs in minutes. This reduces the time to build apps from months to minutes, lowers costs, and allows companies to serve more prospects with higher conversion rates. Proofs aims to become the backbone of API-first companies' software building and selling process.
  • With offices in San Francisco and Warsaw, Proofs employs a team consisting of senior software developers and AI researchers.

Details of the deal

  • Earlybird Digital East Fund led the investment. Being part of the German Earlybird family, it is known for having led Romanian unicorn UiPath’s $1.6 million seed round in 2015.
  • The funding round saw participation from Warsaw-based VC Expeditions Fund, Step Function Ventures, a venture capital firm that funds European and American tech startups, and London-based VC RTP Global
  • Angel investors, including Robin Haak, Jens Lapinski, Tomasz Karwatka, Piotr Karwatka, and Nick Davidov, also joined the round.
  • With the current funding, Proofs plans to develop its product, grow its team, and fund its GTM preparation, focusing on mid-market and enterprise US customers.
