Ukranian-founded aviation startup InputSoft secures $50k to expand globally

Ukrainian-founded InputSoft, a management software for airport operations that assists companies in the civil aviation sector in optimizing and digitalizing their processes, has secured $50,000 from ZAS Ventures. This investment will enable InputSoft to expand globally and enhance brand awareness.

  • Founded in 2021 by Valentyn Zavadskyi and Andrii Smyk, InputSoft develops data and resource management software tailored for firms in the civil aviation sector. Their solutions aim to optimize processes, reduce costs, and minimize harmful emissions into the atmosphere.
  • InputSoft offers two software suites, each with three modules that can be used individually or customized into packages. The data management suite includes flight services, GSE control, and invoicing. The resource management suite features resource planning, staff rostering, and real-time planning. Users can mix and match these modules to suit their needs.
  • InputSoft secured $120,000 in funding from US accelerator Techstars in January 2022, followed by $250,000 in 2023 from SID Venture Partners, Sigma Software Labs, and Torino Cities of the Future Techstars Accelerator.

Details of the deal

  • The investment came from ZAS Ventures, a venture capital firm based in San Francisco and Kyiv. They support founders from Central and Eastern Europe who are building SaaS and cloud startups, focusing on seed-stage investments.
  • With the new capital raised, the startup plans to expand its international reach, boost brand awareness, and attract new investors in 2025.
