Ukrainian robotics drone startup Ailand Systems, which develops smart autonomous drones for agriculture and landmine detection, has secured $200,000 to scale production. The fresh funding came from the team of co-founders of the Ukrainian ride-hailing company Uklon: Dmitry Dubrovskyi, Sergey Smus, Victoria Dubrovska, and Vitalii Diatlenko.
- Founded in 2023 by Dmytro Titov, Ailand Systems specializes in autonomous drones for mine detection and handling explosive devices. The startup offers two main products: the ST1 Landmine Detector and the RT1 Debugger.
- Currently, Ailand Systems is focusing on the ST1, an autonomous aerial mine detector. The ST1 is equipped with multiple sensors, a microcomputer, metal detector search coils for sub-surface object detection, and an RGB camera for visual detection. It can detect all types of landmines, including those with low metal content. This advanced drone operates four times faster than humans at detecting landmines.

- The fresh capital was led by Uklon co-founders Dmytro Dubrovsky, Viktoriia Dubrovska, Serhii Smus, and Vitalii Diatlenko. Uklon’s team created Unbroken, an investment fund that considers seed-round projects developing the defence tech industry, with ticket sizes around $2 million.

Ailand Systems is a great project that has incredible development prospects. We are happy to join and invest in the development of our common security," Co-founder of the Nezlamni Foundation, Dmytro Dubrovsky, stated.
