London-based fleet management platform Volteum has raised €2.5 million in a funding round led by Movens Capital, with participation from WakeUp Capital and Aidiom. The round brings total funding to €3.75 million, as Vestbee was informed.
- Founded in 2022 by Kornél Kálmán, Krisztian Putti, Zsofia Toth, and David Kertesz, Volteum builds software for managing electric and mixed vehicle fleets. It connects directly to vehicle manufacturers’ systems via OEM APIs, eliminating the need for additional hardware.
- The platform consolidates live and historical data, including mileage, battery status, charging activity, fault codes, maintenance schedules, and operating costs, into a single system.
- Fleet operators use it to replace fragmented tools such as spreadsheets, legacy telematics platforms, and separate charging or maintenance systems, enabling real-time fleet monitoring, automated reporting, and detection of inefficiencies in charging, maintenance, and vehicle usage.
- The company says this approach can reduce manual workload by up to 90% and cut operational costs by as much as 30% through improved data visibility and optimisation.
- Customers include Royal Mail, Bolt, Lex Autolease, Schneider Electric, OTP Bank, NG Bailey, and Dundee City Council.
Details of the deal
- With the new capital, Volteum plans to expand across the UK, BeNeLux, and DACH regions, scaling its European footprint. The focus will be on consolidating fleet operations into a single data layer and improving efficiency across charging, maintenance, and vehicle performance management.
