Below is a roundup of the most notable deals across Central and Eastern Europe in November.

PowerUp Energy Technologies, €10M in Series A

PowerUP Energy Technologies develops hydrogen fuel cell generators that convert hydrogen into electricity through electrochemical reactions, producing power without carbon emissions, heat, or noise. The firm will use the €10 million Series A funding to expand its commercial operations, establish strategic international hubs in regions like Central Europe and North America to better serve global customers, and accelerate R&D efforts.

Evrotrust, €6.6M

Evrotrust provides a full suite of reusable digital identity solutions under the EU’s eIDAS regulation, including remote identity verification (KYC/KYB), qualified electronic signatures (QES), qualified electronic timestamps, and qualified electronic delivery services. The recent funding will allow the firm to accelerate expansion across DACH and CEE.

Jou, €4M in a seed round

Juo develops subscription management infrastructure for physical products. The company provides the software layer that handles subscription logic, integrations, billing, and customer interfaces for e-commerce businesses. Juo will use the seed investment to expand the platform’s functionality, including integrating AI agents.

Holi, €3M in a seed round

Holi is a fully digital clinic focused on obesity treatment. Its platform combines medical supervision, psychological support, and continuous health monitoring to deliver long-term, evidence-based therapies. Using €3 million in funding, Holi plans to scale its product into other markets and further develop its existing features. 

Self.co, €2.56M in a combined funding

Self.co is a digital health and diagnostics company focused on helping people understand and manage allergy-like symptoms. In November, it raised €2.56 million in combined grant and seed funding to enter Germany, Austria, Ireland, and the UK, while enhancing operations in Poland and Lithuania. 

Leil Storage, €1.5M in a seed round

Estonian data startup Leil builds software that makes high-density shingled magnetic recording (SMR), which is mostly accessible for hyperscalers like AWS, practical for smaller enterprises. With freshly raised capital, Leil will accelerate go-to-market efforts, expand its product roadmap, and grow its commercial team.

Ranketta, €1M in a pre-seed round

Ranketta is a platform that measures and improves brand and product visibility in AI-generated search results. It tracks mentions and cited sources across LLMs and provides insights into recommendation frequency and sentiment. Ranketta wants to use the €1 million funding to accelerate its expansion across Europe and enter the US market, while also growing its engineering, product, and sales teams.

Bandits, €400k in a seed round

Czech startup Bandits develops solutions that help companies integrate AI into their workflows. It provides clients with customizable AI modules, aiming to speed up their digital and business transformation. Bandits will use the recent funding to further expand its operations and customer base.

Proteine Resources, undisclosed amount 

Location: Maslomiaca, Poland
Founded in: 2017
Total funding received: €12M
Recent funding sources: Radix Ventures, European Innovation Council

Proteine Resources specializes in insect-based protein and bioactive compounds for pet nutrition, veterinary supplements, animal feed, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals. In July, it raised €9.5 million from EIC Accelerator. The company plans to launch its first ready-to-market functional formulations and products under a private-label model in Q1 2026.
