Munich-based nuuEnergy, which installs and manages residential heat pump systems, has raised €4.3 million led by amberra with support from EnjoyVenture, HTGF, Vireo Ventures, better ventures, and Bynd Venture Capital.
- Founded in 2023 by Julia Rafschneider and Tobias Klug, nuuEnergy develops and operates regional heat pump systems for residential buildings in Germany, including Hamburg, Munich, and the Rhineland. The company provides end-to-end services, from heating load calculation and system design to installation, maintenance, and funding application.
- The process begins with a digital assessment to determine heat pump suitability, followed by a consultation with a technical planning specialist. A site visit is conducted to calculate heating requirements and assess feasibility.
- After designing a system tailored to the property, nuuEnergy manages the funding process and carries out the installation, typically over five working days. The company works through regional master craftsmen and heating engineers, combining local expertise with standardized digital processes to deliver fully integrated heating solutions.
Details of the deal
- With the €4.3 million funding, the firm plans to expand its regional heat-pump hubs, empowering skilled craftsmen with digital tools and standardized processes to streamline installations and ensure high-quality service.
- The fresh capital will also support piloting partnerships with cooperative banks, creating an integrated energy ecosystem that combines financing, planning, and on-site implementation to accelerate the heating transition for detached and semi-detached homes across Germany.
