London-based firm Meticulous, which develops AI-powered software testing technology, has secured $15 million in Series A funding led by Chemistry, with participation from Menlo Ventures and a group of angel investors from companies including Poolside, Dropbox, Vercel, OpenAI, Stripe, Adobe, Hex, and Cursor.
- Established in 2021 by brothers Gabriel Spencer-Harper and Quentin Spencer-Harper, Meticulous provides automated software testing tools that help engineering teams verify code changes before deployment.
- The company’s platform records application interactions during development and uses AI to generate and maintain end-to-end tests covering user workflows and edge cases.
- When code changes are introduced, the system compares application behaviour before and after updates, identifying potential issues and helping developers assess their impact before release. The platform currently focuses on frontend testing, with plans to expand into backend and performance testing.
Details of the deal
- The funding will support Meticulous’ expansion of its engineering team and further development of its AI-powered testing platform, including the rollout of backend and performance testing capabilities.
