German knowledge management startup Genow raises €1.65M seed round

Darmstadt-based firm Genow, which provides an AI platform that transforms enterprise data into actionable knowledge, has raised €1.65 million in a seed funding round led by HTGF | High-Tech Gründerfonds.

  • Established in 2023 by Dr. Timo Koppe, Adrian Glauben, Dr. Sara Jourdan, and Prof. Peter Buxmann, Genow develops Wingman, a Knowledge Operations AI platform that connects scattered enterprise information from multiple systems, processes it with AI, and deploys configurable, context-aware Knowledge Agents.
  • These agents deliver high-precision insights across business functions such as HR, sales, customer service, and engineering.
  • Wingman centralizes and structures knowledge, continuously improves it through AI, reduces search time, eliminates tool sprawl, and can be deployed securely in the cloud within days, providing GDPR and EU AI-Act compliance.

"With our Knowledge Operations AI Platform Wingman, we’ve created a way to easily connect corporate knowledge scattered across systems, process it with AI, and deploy specialized Knowledge Agents that can be easily configured and scaled, from Sales to Customer Service to Engineering and many more," Genow's team, commented on LinkedIn.

Details of the deal

  • The investors in Genow’s seed round are HTGF | High-Tech Gründerfonds, BMH Beteiligungs-Management Hessen, and business angels, including Markus Becker, Sebastian Mönnich, and Dr. Mario Lenz.
  • Genow will use the €1.65 million seed funding to enhance the Wingman platform, launch the new Agent Suite, and expand its deployment across enterprises.
