Ljubljana-based company building API-driven infrastructure for global e-invoicing compliance, DDD Invoices, has secured €1.31 million in a seed funding round led by Fil Rouge Capital, with participation from 500 Global, along with angel investors.
- Founded in 2023 by Denis Vehovec Pondelak and Dušan Pondelak, DDD Invoices develops an API-first platform for global tax-compliant e-invoicing infrastructure.
- The company enables SaaS, ERP, POS, marketplace, and payments providers to integrate mandatory e-invoicing and fiscalization requirements across more than 30 countries through a single API.
- It works by taking standardized invoice data from client systems, converting it into country-specific compliant formats, validating it against local regulations, and routing it to tax authorities or e-invoicing networks such as Peppol.
- The platform also supports AI-based extraction of invoice data from PDFs and other unstructured documents, returning compliance status and archiving results back into the originating system.
Details of the deal
- The aim of the €1.31 million seed round is to expand DDD Invoices’ global coverage of tax-compliant e-invoicing, speed up integrations, and grow the team across product, engineering, and go-to-market functions.
“We’re delighted to be the first institutional investor in DDD invoices. Fully compliant e-invoicing is a necessity in commerce today, and DDD is at the centre of providing this essential service to its customers. We are looking forward to participating in DDD’s successful and exciting growth story," claims Roger Blott, partner at Fil Rouge Capital.
