British insurtech firm ClaimSorted, which manages insurance claims using AI and human adjusters, has raised €11.4 million in a seed round led by Atomico, with participation from Eurazeo and Y Combinator.
- ClaimSorted was founded in 2024 by Pavel Gertsberg and German Mikulski. The company operates as a technology-driven third-party administrator (TPA) that handles insurance claims across multiple lines, including commercial and personal property, auto, small commercial, general liability, accident and health, and warranty.
- Its platform automates document verification, eligibility checks, and fraud detection, allowing specialists to focus on complex cases and policyholder interactions. Policyholders can track claims, submit documents, and communicate through a digital portal, while insurers access performance data via API, SFTP, or scheduled reports.
- The company is based in New York and London, with an EU office in Dublin, and partners with over 20 insurers across the US, UK, and Europe.

- The round was led by Atomico, joined by Eurazeo, Y Combinator, Firstminute Capital, Start Ventures Capital, and several seasoned insurance industry veterans.

- The investment will be used to expand ClaimSorted’s team, enhance its AI-driven claims automation platform, and scale operations across key markets in the US, UK, and EU.
- It will also support building stronger partnerships with insurers, enabling faster, more efficient, and customer-focused claims processing through its “Claims TPA 2.0” model.
