Milan-based startup Volta Software, which revolutionizes B2B commerce by providing businesses with ease, flexibility, and digital innovation similar to consumer experiences, has raised €6 million in a pre-seed funding round to digitize the B2B ordering process. The round was backed by EMBLEM and 40 global investors.
- Founded in 2024 by Paul Guillemin and Mario Parteli, Volta Software offers an AI-powered platform that aims to transform B2B commerce. The platform helps brands, wholesalers, and distributors automate repetitive tasks, streamline operations, and drive growth.

The platform enables B2B companies to be as agile and digitally connected as B2C businesses with features like order automation, sales boosting, cost optimization, and improved collaboration.
- According to Volta, its platform results in +18% sales growth, saves 7 hours per employee each week, and delivers a 9x return on investment. With 100% of orders processed digitally, Volta improves operational efficiency and supports businesses in achieving long-term success.
Details of the deal
- The pre-seed round was led by Emblem, a venture capital firm that supports startups at the pre-seed stage in Denmark, France, and Sweden.
- The investment was also supported by 40 global investors including, Paris-based VC Better Angels, Pareto Holdings, Berlin-based VC Robin Capital, Founders Future, Milan-based VC Eden Ventures, Exor Ventures, and B Heroes.
