Milan-based startup Volta Software raises €6M to digitize the B2B ordering process

Milan-based startup Volta Software, which revolutionizes B2B commerce by providing businesses with ease, flexibility, and digital innovation similar to consumer experiences, has raised €6 million in a pre-seed funding round to digitize the B2B ordering process. The round was backed by EMBLEM and 40 global investors.

  • Founded in 2024 by Paul Guillemin and Mario Parteli, Volta Software offers an AI-powered platform that aims to transform B2B commerce. The platform helps brands, wholesalers, and distributors automate repetitive tasks, streamline operations, and drive growth.
  • Volta simplifies the B2B ordering process, helping businesses save time, reduce errors, and focus on growth. The platform enables B2B companies to be as agile and digitally connected as B2C businesses with features like order automation, sales boosting, cost optimization, and improved collaboration.
  • According to Volta, its platform results in +18% sales growth, saves 7 hours per employee each week, and delivers a 9x return on investment. With 100% of orders processed digitally, Volta improves operational efficiency and supports businesses in achieving long-term success.

Details of the deal

"We committed to this deal because it was clear to us that Paul Guillemin and Mario Parteli would be capable of approaching SMEs and mid-sized industrial companies to help them embrace digital transformation, AI, and growth," co-founder of Better Angels, Baptiste Hamel, commented.

  • Volta Software will use the €6 million raised to enhance its AI-powered platform, expand into France and Italy, and drive further innovation in B2B wholesale and distribution.
