Stockholm's sponsorship analytics startup SponsWatch raises $1.05M seed round

Stockholm-based sponsorship analytics startup SponsWatch has raised $1.05 million in a seed funding round led by Node.vc, with support from Venrex. This funding round will enable the startup to expand its workforce and grow its presence in the Nordics.

  • Established in 2021 by Mauricio Torres Leclerc, SponsWatch is an AI-powered platform that measures logotype exposure in sponsorships across video, image, audio, and text on TV, SVOD, social media, and websites.
  • SponsWatch uses proprietary AI and machine learning to analyze content frame by frame, tracking and valuing logos across media. It provides data on exposure, placement, historical trends, and viewership, helping teams, leagues, and brands assess sponsorship impact.
  • The company has seven employees and works with top sports organizations, including the Swedish Women’s Pro Hockey League, Swedish Table Tennis, and Dutch speed skating.
