Details of the deal
- The recent funding, consisting of €650,000 in equity and €350,000 in debt financing, was secured from Startup Wise Guys following their win in UniCredit's Start Lab 2024 program. The global accelerator supports B2B SaaS, fintech, cybersecurity, and sustainability startups, backing companies at the launch and early growth stages.
“Investing in Restworld and Luca was an easy decision for Startup Wise Guys. Luca’s vision, resilience, and leadership stood out, even in challenging times. His ability to stay optimistic and focused on long-term goals has driven the startup’s impressive performance over the past 12 months," explains Cristobal Alonso, CEO at Startup Wise Guys.
- The startup plans to use the funds to develop Restworld’s 2.0 platform and expand its services to businesses of all sizes. The funds will also support its international expansion into Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland, and Spain, with an aim of €10 million in revenue by 2027.
“In 2022, we were close to failure. Thanks to Startup Wise Guys, we reshaped our business model, and now we’re seeing the first results of our hard work. This is just the beginning," CEO at Restworld, Luca Lotteri, commented.
