Amsterdam-based fintech startup Prêts has raised €1 million. Investors include Innovatiefonds Noord-Holland, Rubio Impact Ventures, and Rockstart.
- Founded in 2023 by Eugène Lubbers, Gerard van Swieten, and Peer Fisser, Prêts develops a platform that simplifies the financing process for eco-friendly home upgrades. Its software displays potential financial returns, helping to navigate financing landscapes, and aligns investment costs with energy savings.
- As the startup says, its integrated services are designed to make sustainable living practical, financially viable, and beneficial from an energy savings perspective.
“Our platform not only simplifies financing but also ensures that these investments will not increase homeowners' monthly energy bills, ensuring upgrades are financially neutral and beneficial,” Prêts’s team commented.
The recent funding was provided to Prêts by several investors, including:
- Innovatiefonds Noord-Holland, which provides loans to academic startups, supporting innovative ideas and research-driven ventures.
- Rubio Impact Ventures, an Amsterdam-based venture capital firm that invests in startups across the Netherlands and Europe, focusing on creating a positive impact.
- Rockstart, Dutch early-stage investor that funds founders in sectors such as energy, agrifood, and emerging technologies.
The fresh capital will support Prêts in its work towards the launch of MVP.
