Warsaw-based PRM system Partnerplace.io, which aids online businesses in managing and optimizing relationships with external B2B partners, has secured €350,000 (PLN 1.5 million) from the Tar Heel Capital Pathfinder fund. This investment will support the startup in further developing its platform.
- Founded in 2024 by Kacper Gugała and Simon Baradziej, Partnerplace.io develops a Partner Relationship Management (PRM) system that helps online businesses manage relationships with external B2B partners by collecting data, tracking collaboration, managing payouts, and offering transparent updates and customizable features.
- The platform is used among companies offering IT products or services, leveraging external partners and referral programs as key channels for customer acquisition.
- Partnerplace.io claims to save the equivalent of 1.5 full-time positions for every 100 partners, serving companies in the U.S., Europe, Poland, and the Netherlands.
Details of the deal
- The investment was provided by Tar Heel Capital Pathfinder, a Warsaw-based venture capital firm that supports early-stage tech startups. To date, Pathfinder has made over 60 investments and its portfolio includes startups such as Basketball Forever, BoxMarket, and geekForce.
“We are very impressed by the operational efficiency of the founders and the enthusiastic reaction of customers to the first versions of Partnerplace products. In our opinion, the project has a great chance of achieving global success, and we are glad that we can support the team in this,” Senior Investment Director at Tar Heel Capital Pathfinder fund, Michał Wrzołek, stated.
- The capital raised will help Partnerplace.io enhance and expand its partner programs. Within two months, the startup plans to launch a ‘partnership marketplace’ to simplify the acquisition of new partners from its network.
“We implement several new features every month, and within two months we intend to launch a ‘partnership marketplace,’ a mechanism that allows easy acquisition of new partners from our network. For users, this will bring enormous value for business development, especially for smaller companies where often one, at most two people are responsible for acquiring, maintaining relationships, and developing partnerships,” CTO of Partnerplace, Simon Baradziej, stated.
