Warsaw-based software development startup Moniti, which develops an app to manage deskless teams, has raised over €410,000 (PLN 1.8 million) to scale its existing operations. Investors in the round include Smartlink Partners and JR Holding.
- Founded in 2021 by Dawid Kowalski, Moniti aims to simplify the management of deskless teams with minimal paperwork and optimal efficiency. Its app digitizes HR tasks such as attendance tracking, leave management, scheduling, and payroll automation. The startup enhances team coordination with features for task delegation, real-time GPS monitoring, automatic time tracking, and detailed project cost analysis.
- Moniti employs a team of 18 and is trusted by various firms, including Kabos, Pickpack, Via Medica, ProfiMed, go rent!, Lumina Park, Warsaw Concierge Group, and KZU Gdansk.
Details of the deal
- The fresh capital came from Smartlink Partners, a Polish venture capital firm specializing in early-stage investments across several sectors, including e-commerce, digital business, AI, cybersecurity, renewable energy, deeptech, hardware, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, fintech, and medical technology. Smartlink Partners focuses primarily on opportunities in Poland and Central Europe, typically investing between €460,000 (PLN 2 million) and €1.8 million (PLN 8 million) per venture.
- The funding round also saw participation from JR Holding., an alternative joint-stock firm based in Krakow, along with various business angels.
- With the fresh capital, Moniti plans to expand its operations, further develop its deskless team management app for senior employees, and expand globally.
