Finnish startup LOUHE.ai, which uses machine learning and Explainable AI to gather data from campuses and buildings, providing intelligent situational awareness for improved security and real estate operations, has secured €3 million in funding led by Lifeline Ventures.

  • Founded in 2020 by Jukka Laakso, Eira Hurskainen, and Hannes Huotari, LOUHE.ai delivers a data-driven security solution that uses machine learning and Explainable AI to monitor access control data in real time, detecting anomalies and potential threats in buildings and campuses.

  • The startup has established partnerships with several prominent organizations, including the Finnish Broadcasting Company (Yleisradio), The Social Insurance Institution (Kansaneläkelaitos), and Finavia. It has also formed international collaborations with Securitas Technologies and Forus in the Baltic region.
