German healthtech LillianCare raises €1.5M to expand blended primary care services

German healthcare startup LillianCare, which is addressing Germany's critical physician shortage, has raised €1.5 million in a recent funding round. The investment was led by existing investors Nina Capital and Caesar.  Calm/Storm Ventures and Björn von Siemens also joined.

  • Founded in 2023 by Linus Drop and Markus Liesmann, LillianCare partners with local health authorities and municipalities to deliver comprehensive medical clinic services. By offering doctors state-of-the-art practice spaces, advanced infrastructure, technology, and qualified staff, LillianCare ensures high-quality healthcare delivery.
  • LillianCare’s hybrid model offers both in-person visits and video sessions from doctors' home offices, making healthcare more flexible and accessible for patients. They also work closely with physician assistants (PAs) and nurses, giving them more responsibility and support through telemedical supervision to ensure high-quality care.

They were joined by Calm/Storm Ventures, Björn von Siemens, and new investors, including Ship2B Ventures via the BSocial Impact Fund, Atlantis Ventures, Stefan Menden, Pascal Werner, and Markus Frühwein.

“With 4,100 primary care practices currently unoccupied, the urgency of an innovative solution like LillianCare’s is obvious. We are proud to support the team’s mission and look forward to the positive impact they will have,” Managing Partner at Caesar, Dr. Carolin Gabor, stated.

  • The funding round will enable LillianCare to expand blended primary care services in underserved areas, effectively addressing Germany's doctor shortage.

“We are overwhelmed and grateful for the continued support of our current investors and are excited to welcome new investors who share our vision,” CEO and co-founder of LillianCare, Linus Drop, commented.
