- Founded in 1997 by Michael Elias, Kennet Partners is a venture capital firm that invests in growth companies utilizing information technology products and services. The firm offers expansion capital and support to management teams, aiding entrepreneurial technology businesses in North America and Europe in accelerating growth and building shareholder value.
- With offices in London, Frankfurt, and Silicon Valley, Kennet Partners' portfolio includes 20 startups, 120 investments, and 47 exits, including companies such as Adikteev, Dext, Conversica, and Textbroker.
- Kennet Partners' sixth fund was backed by Edmond de Rothschild Private Equity, British Patient Capital, Federated Hermes Private Equity, and Bpifrance.
- The fund targets companies with strong expansion prospects, self-sufficiency, founder ownership, independence from external funding, or high capital efficiency. These companies typically receive initial investments from Kennet Partners, with size tickets ranging from €3 million to €50 million.
- The fund has supported UK-based Screendragon, a work management platform tailored for marketing, agencies, and professional services, and Lyon-based Fluid Topics, an AI-powered content delivery platform for product knowledge and technical documentation.
