Dutch AI software for detecting and minimizing deepfake threats, DuckDuckGoose, has raised €1.3 million to enhance the software's efficiency and facilitate further growth.
- Founded in 2020 by Joris Mollinga, Parya Lotfi, and Mark Evenblij, DuckDuckGoose offers solutions to protect against manipulated videos, images, voices, and texts in the digital environment. Its services include image checks and ID verification.
- DuckDuckGoose's tool detects deepfakes and generative AI models, providing 100% understandable results with 95% accuracy in a 1-second analysis with API integration.
- Delft-based DuckDuckGoose’s customer list includes European AI startup Landscape, DataChecker, Tweede Kamer, T-Mobile, and Yes! Delft. Furthermore, the startup plans to offer its AI-driven software technology to governments, businesses, and individuals.
Details of the deal
- The funding round was backed by Brussels-based VC Shaping Impact Group, Ctrl+Alt+Invest, Den Haag-based Aruma Ventures, the Graduate Entrepreneur Fund, and Sander Kuijk, Co-founder at StuDocu.
