Dublin-based SaaS startup DevAlly secures €2M pre-seed round

Dublin-based SaaS firm DevAlly, which provides an AI platform for digital accessibility compliance, has secured €2 million in a pre-seed round to expand operations and scale into the US market.

  • Established in 2024 by Cormac Chisholm and Patrick Guiney, DevAlly develops an AI-powered platform to help companies identify and remediate digital accessibility issues.
  • The platform conducts automated audits of websites, apps, and other digital products to detect barriers such as missing captions, poor contrast, or incompatibility with screen readers.
  • It also tracks issues reported by users, generates compliance reports, and provides structured workflows for remediation.
  •  By integrating AI and accessibility-focused large language models, DevAlly enables organizations to systematically monitor and manage accessibility throughout the product development lifecycle, supporting compliance with regulations like the European Accessibility Act.

Details of the deal

  • The €2 million was led by Belgian fund Miles Ahead Capital, with participation from NDRC, Enterprise Ireland, and several European angel investors.
  • DevAlly will use the €2 million pre-seed funding to grow its team, expand into the US market, and scale its AI-powered accessibility platform to meet rising demand from the European Accessibility Act and global customers.
