Zagreb-based startup that develops an event management platform Entrio has raised a €9 million funding round led by Croatian private equity fund manager Invera Equity Partners.
- Entrio was founded in 2011 by Berislav Marszalek and Matija Marijan. The startup develops event management software for in-person, hybrid, and virtual events. For users, it provides a one-click ticketing solution as well as paper ticket delivery. For event organizers, Entrio offers promotion, cashless payment, online registration, and analytics solutions.
- To date, Entrio operates in Croatia, Slovenia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
- The leading investor during this funding round is Invera Equity Partners, founded in 2020. This VC’s key investment areas include business services, TMT (telecom, media, and technology), manufacturing and industrial production, hospitality and entertainment, healthcare, and food and beverages. Its ticket size ranges from €3 million to €12 million, and it has four startups in its portfolio, including Entrio.
“This investment fits perfectly into our investment philosophy and our track record of building and developing fast-growing B2C brands with amazing products across the globe,” said Denis Sabolović, investment manager at Invera Equity Partners.
- The fresh investment will go toward platform development, market expansion, vertical and segment expansion, and product and service portfolio expansion.
